EcolCafé is an industrial process for filling and sealing NESPRESSO® compatible coffee capsules, followed by several control and packaging devices.

The EcolCafé unit in its "Production Line" version is made up of 3 complementary systems which ensure respectively and mainly the following functions

The distribution of empty capsules, the grinding of coffee beans, the dosing and tamping of ground coffee and the sealing of full capsules.
Transferring the capsules to a quality control and sorting area (weight, color)
Marking the capsules for identification and traceability purposes
Grouping or packaging of the capsules produced by a robot

These functions are carried out by independent modules that are associated in line.

The Ecolportic automated industrial system is designed to teach automation through a model that can be operated as a surface treatment of parts. It includes all the end-effectors, actuators, pre-actuators and sensors of a real system and allows the programming of a complete part treatment cycle.
This equipment allows heavy parts to be hung on a hook (operation carried out manually in the "Loading" work area).
By means of a pre-set programme, the parts to be processed are moved along two axes:
- a horizontal axis defining six work zones,
- a vertical axis ensuring the ascent and descent in the simulated baths located below the work zones.
The last work area is an unloading station where the operator collects the "treated" parts.

* An electret microphone is a microphone with a component called an electret, which can be likened to a capacitor. The latter has the particularity of being permanently polarised at the time of manufacture.
