Turgo power plant: from hydraulic energy to electrical energy

The third largest source of electricity production in the world, hydroelectric power is set to develop by integrating the protection of fish resources and by linking up with other renewable energies such as wind power or other hybrid systems (e.g. with hydrogen).
other hybrid systems (e.g. with hydrogen). A hydraulic turbine is a rotating machine that produces mechanical energy from moving water (river or tide) or potentially moving water (dam). It is the main component of hydroelectric power plants designed to produce electricity from a flow of water. There are two types of water turbines: action and reaction turbines.
Action or impulse turbines convert hydraulic pressure into kinetic energy by means of a static device (injector), before activating the moving part. The Turgo turbine, designed for medium head.

ECOLPORTIC OVERHEAD CRANE

The Ecolportic automated industrial system is designed to teach automation through a model that can be operated as a surface treatment of parts. It includes all the end-effectors, actuators, pre-actuators and sensors of a real system and allows the programming of a complete part treatment cycle.
This equipment allows heavy parts to be hung on a hook (operation carried out manually in the "Loading" work area).
By means of a pre-set programme, the parts to be processed are moved along two axes:
- a horizontal axis defining six work zones,
- a vertical axis ensuring the ascent and descent in the simulated baths located below the work zones.
The last work area is an unloading station where the operator collects the "treated" parts.

MONEO PACK AND IO-LINK KIT

The Monéo solution provides a global vision and monitoring of all the systems monitored via the process parameters from the IO-Link masters of the installation.

IFM moneo bridges the gap between the operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) levels. The data generated by sensors in
sensors in production facilities can be easily read and processed.
Moneo is modular and consists of basic software and applications, e.g. for status monitoring or parameterization of
IO-Link sensors. Thus, it is possible to put together an à la carte software suite, tailored to each individual requirement.
The moneo solution allows a global overview and monitoring of all monitored systems via the process parameters of the
IO-Link masters of the installation.

The 3D SMART HOME cell has been designed and developed in partnership with SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC.
It is designed to study and implement a home automation installation for a tertiary building. The home automation installation is controlled via a KNX bus. The energy management by IRIO allows to illustrate the applications of the RT2012 regulation. This cell can be sold bare without cladding but also wired and ready to use.
Different configurations are possible for this equipment depending on the customer's needs.

A charging station intended for residential or urban use is generally made up of 4 elements: a socket base - type 3 in France, an electrical contactor that can support a large current, an electronic card for managing energy and users thanks to RFID cards, as well as control buttons simulating a load shedding input or the switch to off-peak hours.
This EcolRecharge system is integrated into a simulation of a connected urban environment, making it possible to reproduce the public infrastructure part of an eco-district, which will eventually have the Smart Grid function to manage energy exchanges between the production means and the users.
between the means of production, storage and use of energy. This equipment is part of our "Connected Street" concept. This new equipment, in the connected environment, will enable future technicians to adapt to the evolution of techniques, technologies and methods used in the electrical engineering professions.
