The EcolDecoupe machine allows the operator to manually feed a flat carton of size 297 mm x (210 to 420) mm. The cleat conveyor carries the carton under the die-cutting press. During this conveyance, if the "printing" option is included, the marking on two lines in a predetermined area is done by inkjet. As soon as the sheet is fed into the press, it is cut and creased by the action of the intermediate plate, which is driven by a hydraulic pressure of 25 tons. The shape of the cut and crease will be given by the tool mounted under the intermediate plate (interchangeable tools). After cutting, the sheet is carried out of the machine to a receiving plate (the cut will remain attached to the cardboard by micro-attachments). The operator will manually recover the cardboard sheet at the machine exit, disassemble the blank from its fasteners and form the box or cardboard lid.
